Client Fees?

  • Fees are charged on a sliding scale according to people’s financial means.
  • Payment is required on the day of the appointment.
  • EFTPOS/Visa payments are available.
  • Bulk billing available through Medicare for clients who have a doctor's referral.

WCLE Counsellors

Jenny Eastwood, B.A. Dip.Ed., Grad Dip. Ps Couns., Grad. Dip. Soc. Sc., is a professional counsellor and qualified Gestalt therapist. She has over 18 years experience and her speciality areas include grief and loss, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and personal and spiritual growth. She is an accredited counsellor with National Association of Loss and Grief and is registered for referrals from Victims of Crime and Workcover.

Greg Roberts, BSW (Hons), MAASW, is an accredited Social worker/counsellor and educator with particular interest in grief/loss/trauma, stress management, relationships and men’s health. Greg also works at The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement and is registered for referrals from TAC, Workcover, Veterans' Affairs and Medicare.

Stephen McElwee, M. Th., B.A., Dip. Min., Grad. Dip. Min., Grad Dip. P.C., is a professional counsellor with significant experience in relationship counselling and recovery through depression. A Loss and Grief practitioner, accredited by the National Association for Loss and Grief. He is also a registered member of the Christian Counsellors Association and P.A.C.F.A. as well as Workcover and TAC.

Karin Shepherd, B.A. (Hons) Dip Ed. Clinical member of the Victorian Association of Family Therapists (VAFT) is a Family Therapist and Counsellor. She has significant experience in depression, stress and anxiety, parenting issues, addictions, loss and grief, self-esteem, and has a special interest in families with drug and alcohol problems.

Wendy Lyons has worked as a professional counsellor in Geelong for over 10 years. She is a qualified and accredited counsellor and family therapist. She works with couples, individuals and families, and has a special interest in personal and family relationships and spirituality.

Anita Henderson has qualifications, experience and background working in health (nursing), welfare (Associate Diploma of Welfare Studies), pastoral ministry (Bachelor of Theology, Diploma in Pastoral Ministry, Clinical Pastoral Education), counselling (Master in Creative and Experiential Arts Therapy), facilitation (Graduate Certificate in Social Science, Men’s Behaviour Change Group Facilitation).

Anita worked many years as a Child and Family Counsellor, Women’s Contact Worker, and Facilitator of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs in agencies operating under the auspices of the Attorney General’s Department to assist couples, individuals and families to resolve conflicts in their relationship.
